As per police department of Mexico, there has been a hot air balloon crash this saturday morning i.e. 26th June 2021 at around 7 a.m at Albuquerque, New Mexico. and 5 people including the driver are declared dead. 4 of them were dead on the spot and other 1 was taken to hospital but due to injury he scumbed to death.
The exact reason is not known till now but it is assumed that the ballon must have hit the wire of power supply and this accident took place. It also resulted into power failure for near about 13000 homes and business units nearby.
The exact reason for the incident is unknown but it will be investigated by The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
Albuquerque police updated to the incident around 7 a.m. “Unfortunately, 4 individuals died as a result of their wounds from the hot air balloon crash,” Police department also said in a tweet early Saturday morning. “One additional individual was transported to a local hospital and is currently in critical and unstable condition.”
But Saturday afternoon, the Albuquerque police said that man who had been “transported to the hospital succumbed to his injuries”
